Antoine Buquen is a native from France, now living in London where he extended his photography practice at the University of Greenwich.

Coming from an artistic background, he started taking pictures when he was 17, with his father's old film camera. 

Each of Antoine Buquen's work is supported by a psychological, historical and theoritical background. His works are driven by personnal subjects which he opens to a larger scale in order to study our society. Described as intimat and discret, his pictures tend to make us reflex about our everyday lives, playing with prejudices and common ideas.
